Doctors of Podiatric medicine (DPMs), also known as Podiatric physicians and surgeons,
have the education and training to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot,
ankle, and related structures of the leg. Whether it’s a sports injury, diabetes
complication, pediatric deformity, or heel pain, today’s podiatrist is uniquely qualified
among medical professionals to treat the foot and ankle. At McKesson, we understand
that podiatrists need an electronic health record (EHR) that integrates with their
existing practice management system and focuses on their unique needs for documenting
patient encounters. While podiatrists only deal with the foot and the ankle, both
feet contain ¼ of all the bones in the body and each foot has more than 100 tendons,
ligaments and muscles. But what podiatrists don’t want is to have to force their
